Thank you for all you have given to the world. Your kindness, grace and mercy will forever remain in our hearts. You are and will forever be the people’s Pope. God bless you and rest in peace

On behalf of myself, as Pastor, and all of the parishioners of the Church of St. Katharine Drexel,
Ramsey, Minnesota, prayers are offered for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis. Prayers as
well in thanksgiving to God for having called him to be our Holy Father, and Pastor of the Universal Church.
His example of faith, commitment to justice, and deep love for the Church will live on. May he rest
in God's everlasting peace and love!

El Papa Francisco - you changed my life. Thank you for being a shepherd that smelt of sheep. I thank God for your life and your ministry. And I hope I get to see you again on the other side of eternity. May you rest in peace and rise in glory. Godspeed +

I followed you from the beginning. Your intellect,happiness,honor to God and the care of people and their problems. I saw a picture that you had with a great looking dog and he was so happy to see you.
I also felt your political problems from not only personsonal view but from a worldly and spiritual view. That perspective helped many people.

I also met Pope John when he came to Chicago and to me he also had a loving grace about him;just like you. I will miss you but Heaven will be shing on you. Thank You very much as you helped many.

God bless and hold you in His loving arms always. Thank you so much for all your years of loving service.

I hope to one day to meet you in heaven. You have always made me feel so loved by the Lord. You are a good and faithful servant of the Lord. I pray you are resting in the Fathers arms. I will Miss you terribly. Gods speed

Pope Francis was a true epitome of St. Francis of Assisi. As a family with many challenges several critical health problems and poverty, we are inspired and blessed by the people he truly represents - a Pope for all. A true shining and guiding light. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, let perpetual light shine upon him. Amen.

I am saddened at the passing of Pope Francis. He truly was the people’s Pope and set an amazing example for all of us to love and care for our world family, especially those who are in need. Pope Francis also set an example of including those who are disabled physically or mentally. We were blessed to have him for 12 years as our Holy Father and still ministering on Easter even as he was ill. I am praying for Pope Francis, his family, and his fellow priests and religious. I will pray the novena for him along with those across the world and in Rome. May Pope Francis rest in eternal peace.

May God’ angels shepherd His Holiness Pope Francis’s soul to his final resting place with our Father in heaven. Pope Francis, you faced much criticism from many of the faithful during your papacy. Not unlike Jesus, you both were criticized and shunned during your reign.
What you stood for is what all Christians on earth today need to adopt which is a life of meekness, humbleness and compassion for the poor, and marginalized people of this world. You have set the example for us the Christians of this world. My hope is that our next Pope will continue what you have begun. We need more compassion and mercy for all people regardless of race creed or religion. God created us equal. We need to remember that. May God rest your soul and may God bestow His grace on all the cardinals as they select our new pope. Gad have mercy on the world.

Thank you, Pope Francis, for speaking up for the poor and marginalized. Your sense of humor made you approachable to all, not just Catholics. Rest in peace in the arms of Our Lord.
