Visiting Clergy

Visiting priests are welcome to concelebrate Sunday Mass or Daily Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Priests may also celebrate Mass individually or with a group by advance reservation, pending availability. To schedule a private Mass for an individual or a group, please contact Dee Steel, Director of Visitors Services, at 202-281-0611.

Please be advised that, in light of the provision of canon 903 CIC and canon 703 CCEO, all priests who wish to celebrate or concelebrate Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception are required to present a celebret or Testimonial of Suitability from their Ordinary or Religious Superior. This documentation must be a hard copy sent in advance. Priests are also asked to bring their own alb.
