Thank you Pope Francis for being a magnificent, compassionate, caring shepherd of all of us, especially one. I hope Heaven's gates were wide open when you arrived and that the Lord wrapped his arms around you in a huge hug. Rest in Heavenly peace. Love always!

Our Lord has called You home to him, but we are left with the Everlasting Gift of Your Most Precious Legacy of Eternal Love, Faith, Hope, Acceptance, Charity, and Kindness in the Faithful Ministry of the Holy Will of Our Lord God. While Our World will Never be the same without the Joy of Your Presence, it will Always be a Comforting, Healing, Reconciling Source of Eternal Peace.

Rest in peace sounds nice but we who Pope Francis left behind need his help more than ever to help his predecessor follow his path to keep the Church alive and well. Please everyone say a prayer every day to Pope Francis for his help!

You were a good steward for the poor, hungry, prisoners, and downtrodden. I'm glad you cared about the people who were marginalized. Rest in Peace, Pope Francis.

Pope Francis, Thank you. For all eternity, thank you. Thank you for giving so completely of yourself. Rest in peace, in the arms of the Holy Family!

May God bless the soul of His faithful servant Jorge Mario Bergoglio and welcome him into the Kingdom of Heaven. As pope , he led the Catholic Church in a much needed .different direction which will hopefully affect and shape the Church for many years to come. We pray that the inspiration you left us will continue to strengthen our faith, trust and love to our Lord Jesus Christ. You taught us through Mary we always have a mother who intercedes for us. I am deeply saddened by the death of Pope Francis. Our loss is of much more than one person.
The Ignatian Solidarity Network, in an email to supporters, captured in two sentences what His Holiness meant to so many, Catholic and non-Catholic alike:
"Throughout his twelve-year pontificate, Pope Francis invited the Church to live a prophetic Gospel vision. Through his words and deeds, he challenged us all to defend and promote the inherent dignity of all God’s creation, both people and planet."
A prophetic Gospel vision culminating in his Prayer of Hope in this Jubilee Year. Anticipatory, active respect for the "inherent dignity of all God's creation, both people and planet." Francis regularly "defended and promoted" this belief and value to a world seemingly and increasingly devaluing its people and the planet.
I prayed for Francis's recovery, and now I pray in thanksgiving for his lifetime and for his eternal rest.

Eternal rest grant unto Pope Francis, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

I will miss you. May the Lord place his hand on yours.
