
Veneration of the Relics of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus (Lisieux)
November 20 - November 22

The Basilica is pleased to welcome the relics of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus (Lisieux). Join us on Thursday, November 20, through Saturday, November 22, to venerate the relics of this great saint and Doctor of the Church in the 100th year anniversary of her canonization in 1925.
Veneration of the Relics:
The relics will arrive on Thursday, November 20, at 9:00 a.m. and be available for public veneration through Saturday, November 22, until 12:00 Noon.
Masses:
On Thursday, November 20, His Eminence Wilton Cardinal Gregory, Archbishop Emeritus of Washington, will celebrate an Opening Mass for the Veneration of the Relics at 12:10 p.m. On Friday, November 21, His Eminence Sean Cardinal O’Malley, Archbishop Emeritus of Boston, will celebrate the 12:10 p.m. Mass. On Saturday, November 22, His Eminence Christophe Cardinal Pierre, Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, will celebrate the Closing Mass for the Veneration of the Relics at 12:10 p.m.
