17th Annual Asian and Pacific Island Catholics Marian Pilgrimage

Asian and Pacific Islander Pilgrimage

On May 4th, 2019 the Asian and Pacific Island Catholic communities will come together to celebrate their heritage and Marian devotions. This Marian day of prayer will include the following communities: Bangladeshi, Burmese, Cambodian, Chamorros, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Lebanese, Montagnard, Pakistani, Samoan, Sri Lankan, Thai, and Vietnamese.

The day’s events will include Confession at 12 Noon, a Call to Prayer at 1:00 p.m., Recitation of the Rosary at 2:00 p.m., and Mass at 2:30 p.m. celebrated by the Most Reverend Christophe Pierre, Apostolic Nuncio to the United States. The event will also feature music by the Serenata Choir.

Confessions will be held in the following chapels: Czestochowa, Siluva, Mother of Sorrows, and Miraculous Medal.
