For Healing and Hope: A Choral Concert on the Commemoration of All Souls

On Tuesday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m., The Choir of the Basilica of the National Shrine, under the direction of Dr. Peter Latona, will offer a spiritual concert in the beauty of the Basilica’s Crypt Church. For Healing and Hope: A Choral Concert on the Commemoration of All Souls will feature sacred music drawn from the past six centuries. The concert is dedicated to the nearly 5,000,000 people worldwide and over 700,000 in the United States who have died as a result of the pandemic and is offered as a comfort to the countless others who mourn their loss. The Concert is free and open to the public.
The Choir of the Basilica will perform works by Dove, Sumsion, Palestrina, Part, Rorem, Byrd, Harris et al. This Concert is free and open to the public. If you are unable to join us, the concert will be streamed live on the National Shrine’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
