Rosary for Peace with Pope Leo XIV

On Saturday, May 30, at 1:00 p.m. ET, the Basilica will join Pope Leo XIV and Marian shrines around the world in a Rosary for Peace, prayed at the invitation of the Holy See for nations suffering from armed conflict.

The Basilica unites in this global moment of prayer, presided over by Monsignor Walter R. Rossi, Rector of the Basilica. The Rosary will be prayed simultaneously with the Holy Father, who will lead the worldwide Rosary from the Vatican Gardens. The Vatican will utilize livestream footage from the Basilica in their live coverage of the event.

All are invited to participate in person in the Great Upper Church or via livestream at nationalshrine.org/mass.
