Please join the Basilica as we dedicate the latest addition to the exterior artwork of the National Shrine, The Home Coming. A sculpture in bronze by artist Timothy Schmalz and a gift of House the Homeless Inc. and the National Coalition for the Homeless, The Home Coming depicts the warmth of Christian charity, the friendship, and the humanity that the homeless share. Cardinal Wilton Gregory, Archbishop of Washington and Chairman of the National Shrine Board of Trustees will preside at the dedication.
