M. Chad Levitt

Headshot of guest organist M. Chad Levitt M. Chad Levitt is a conductor and organist based in Jacksonville, FL. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, he studied under David Gilbert, formerly of the New York Philharmonic, and Ennio Nicotra, of the University of Milan-Bicocca (Italy), for conducting and McNeil Robinson and Alan Morrison for organ. Chad holds over twenty years of leadership experience in the sacred music field, including serving as the Director of Music at the landmark St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church, Brooklyn Heights. As a conductor, he has led many prestigious orchestral ensembles consisting of players of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and Allentown Symphony. As an organist, he has performed at major venues in the U.S., most recently including Princeton University Chapel and Trinity Church Wall Street in New York City and abroad including Eglise de Notre Dame, Epernay, and Eglise de Saint Croix de Bordeaux in France. Chad currently holds the position of Interim Director of Music at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, Florida.
