The Basilica’s elevator is currently undergoing emergency repairs and will be out of service until further notice.
Accommodations are available for visitors with mobility issues to access the Great Upper Church. A temporary ramp has been installed on the West side entrance of the Basilica. To access this ramp, please proceed around the back (north) of the Basilica, adjacent to Mary’s Garden, to the West side portico where the ramp is located.

Access to confession and daily Mass in the Crypt Church, as well as touring the lower level of the Basilica, are unaffected. Thank you for your understanding as we undergo these emergency repairs to ensure long-term operational stability of the elevator.
