His repertoire spans the music of Johann Sebastian Bach\, the great French symphonic masters\, the late-Romantic organ tradition\, and organ transcriptions of orchestral works. \nAfter beginning his musical studies in Alba\, he continued his training in France with Jean-Paul Imbert at the Schola Cantorum in Paris\, where he was awarded the Diplôme de Concert with highest distinction (Très bien à l’unanimité et félicitations du jury). He subsequently earned the Diplôme d’Études Musicales from the Conservatoire de Versailles\, receiving First Prize in Basso Continuo unanimously awarded by the jury\, and pursued studies in organ improvisation with Pierre Pincemaille at the Conservatoire de Saint-Maur. He graduated cum laude in Organ and Organ Composition from the “Giorgio Federico Ghedini” Conservatory of Cuneo under Bartolomeo Gallizio and further refined his artistry through masterclasses with Jean-Paul Imbert\, Massimo Nosetti\, Olivier Latry\, and David Briggs. \nAs a recitalist\, he has performed extensively throughout Italy and Europe\, appearing in major churches\, cathedrals\, and concert venues across Vatican City and in Switzerland\, France\, Germany\, Belgium\, Spain\, Poland\, and the United Kingdom. He has also collaborated with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Alba. Alongside his concert activity\, Studer is particularly active as a transcriber for the organ. His organ transcription of Alexander Borodin’s symphonic poem In the Steppes of Central Asia was published by Armelin Musica (Padua) and subsequently recorded for the BNL and Quantum labels.
